Arbinet Announces Exchange Delivery Point in Miami To Serve Latin American Demand
New Brunswick, NJ, April 19, 2006 – Arbinet-thexchange, Inc. [Nasdaq: ARBX], the leading electronic market for trading, routing and settling communications capacity, announces it has added a virtual Exchange Delivery Point (vEDP) at 50 NE 9th Street in Miami, Florida. This is one of a series of expansion efforts to extend geographic reach and resources to enhance Member profitability.
There has been a significant increase in Latin American Membership with notable Member additions including Telmex Argentina SA, Tricom USA, EMBRATEL, Telefonica De Argentina, Telecom Colombia, Empressa Hondurena, Entel Bolivia, Telecom Argentina and Empresa Nicaraguanese de Telecom.

Traffic is routed under the control of Arbinet’s route optimization software which allows for seamless trading regardless of a Member’s point of interconnection.
